How to set up Facebook Business Manager

Business Manager is a tool to manage your business. Sign up for this platform if you want to manage your business page, ad accounts and run and track ads. This will also allow you to set up ad accounts under the business account instead of a personal one which can help when assigning or removing access from users. You will need a Facebook account to set up Business Manager as you will use your username and password to sign into Business Manager. 

Go to this link - business.facebook.com/overview and select create account. Enter your business's name, your name, the business email address and hit submit. 


Add your Facebook business page

In Business Settings, under Account select Pages. Select the dropdown Add and either add your Facebook page if it exists or create one. Once the page is added, you can also add users and grant them specific access.

Add Users

In Business Settings, under Users select Pages. Select the dropdown Add, enter the persons email address and hit next. You will be able to assign specific access here, otherwise you can do that later.  Remember to assign the correct access to users.

Add an Ad account

In Business Settings, select ad account. Select the dropdown Add, then select the relevant option.
 - Add an Ad account
- Request access to an Ad account
- Create a new Ad account

Setting up an Ads account will allow you to advertise your business on Facebook. 
Connect your Instagram Account

In Business Settings, under Account select Pages. Select the dropdown Add, then Connect your Instagram account. Enter your Instagram login details.
